Me and Laura both sketched out some initial ideas for the bottle designs based on Bottle B. At first we wanted to steer clear of the usual images of the flavour on the bottle because we felt that this had been done a lot. Because our target audience is mainly women I drew some powerful, beautiful women as representations of the flavours, using similar colours to the blueberries or elderflowers etc. Next I tried a more minimal design using the logo as the main focus for the design. Also, I had an idea that we could list the reasons why you would drink vodka in a handwritten font. I really liked the idea of using colours swatches combined with patterns to create a really playful and colourful design. However I feel like something like this may not suit our target audience and would be more suited to a younger more contemporary audience. Finally I had the idea to use very simple botanical illustrations across the bottle, with the glass showing through the illustrations. While this feels like a very obvious design it would work well and suit our target audience.
