OUGD603 - Creative Networks - Ink Experimentation

When brainstorming for Creative Networks with the upcoming speaker Mike Mignolia we immediately related him with ink. So we wanted to create some interesting materials to go alongside the posters to generate more interest.

Our initial experiments involved flicking water onto the wet ink of the type. It created quite an interesting distressed effect. When we were actually doing the experiments we thought it looked pretty cool so we began filming it. I created some short gifs of some of the better ones. 

We thought that these could perhaps be used in the emails that get sent out to the alumni and students to advertise the event. If we get chosen we would polish these up by using a better camera and a tripod.
