This weekend I visited Leeds Light Night for the first time. It was a truly inspiring experience, being part of an audience full of anticipation and excitement. The highlight of my night had to be the projection on the civic hall. It was truly breathtaking and the amount of work that must have gone into it must have been phenomenal.
I also really enjoyed the atmosphere created by the lit drummers, weaving through the crowd like water.
Another highlight for me was the Dark Sky Light Water at the docks, the reflections creating by all the lights from the buildings surrounding it were beautiful. And the installation itself, even though we were unable to go into it, was breathtaking to watch. The way the lights flickered and changed reminded me of running water itself.
